2013

For major customers and key accounts, WSG launched a new dispatch model for Northern and Southern Germany

2012

LTO establishes a new regional warehouse directly on the A9 interstate at Triptis, Germany. 

 

WSG builds a large 4,000m² warehouse (construction began in June with start-up operations beginning in August).

 

WSG celebrates its 20 year anniversary.

2011

KVG expands portfolio of services into construction materials logistics.
WSG becomes the logistics provider for a new customer in Waldheim, Roller Furniture.
LTO earns the confidence of, Doctor Optics, and becomes their logistic partner.

2009

Development and expansion of the WSG furniture logistics; commenced business relations with the present key account and large customer, Roller Furniture in Waldheim.
OBS enters into the newspaper transport market thru acquisition of Blickpunkt und Direktvertrieb, Brandenburg, from Potsdam, as customers.
OBS expands storage capacity to better serve the Berlin and the north-eastern regions of Germany by renting warehouse space in Dabendorf.

2008

Under "Top Secret" conditions, LTO Oppurg, again handles the processing and delivery of the 7th edition of, Harry Potter. L+T has been the service provider for the large printing company, GGP, for the commissioning, storage, processing and delivery of all of the Harry Potter books. KVG buys new 4.000m² storage warehouse.

2005 Schütz Spedition GmbH / SCHÜTZ SHIPPING, INC., a building materials logistics company, becomes a valuable addition to the MEIDEL GROUP.
2003 The Centennial is celebrated. 100-year anniversary of a family-operated business.
2000 The L + T Group with branches in Berlin, Zossen-Dabendorf and Oppurg is integrated into the MEIDEL GROUP.
1997 The former road transport company, Kraftverkehr Erfurt, today KVG Kraftverkehrsgesellschaft Erfurt mbH, KVG, ERFURT MOTOR TRANSPORT COMPANY is taken over.
1992 Takeover of the Waldheim Road Transport, the basis of today's WSG Waldheim Speditionsgesellschaft mbH, WSG, WALDHEIMER TRUCK Freight, Ltd in Waldheim.
1948 Resurrection of the freight trucking business after eviction from Breslau, Germany (present day Poland). First, in Markt Bibart, Franconia, Bavaria, Germany. Later the same year, operations moved a few kilometers along State Hwy. 8 (B8) to their present location - half-way between Nuremberg and Wuerzburg - in Markt Einersheim.
1903 Ernst Meidel establishes the company in Breslau, Germany, which is now Poland.
