With Jona and Joni to the "First Responder of Tomorrow"

"Helping is powerful," as the Johanniter (a German charitable organization) say, who have been successfully teaching children in daycare, kindergarten, school, or youth groups first aid for years. They are supported in this by the hand puppets Jona and Joni.

With Jona and Joni to the "First Responder of Tomorrow"

To deepen the learning experience, the Johanniter have partnered with the K&L Verlag to develop an easy-to-understand coloring, playing, and workbook, a poster, and an app, which are essential components of an educational package for children aged five to eleven. We believe this is a good cause!

Therefore, we support the project:

The book, with many pictures to color, teaches girls and boys the skills to provide first aid in emergencies and to recognize everyday hazards in the home, during leisure activities, and in traffic in a timely manner.

On 44 pages, Jona and Joni share their experiences in the world of helping. Through child-friendly case examples, they provide tips and advice on first aid and prevention. At the same time, educators, caregivers, and parents can discuss and practice the illustrations with the children. The app features instructional videos and serves as a digital learning success monitor. It shows children whether they have correctly completed the tasks and encourages them to complete the entire book.

With the support of many local businesses, the coloring and workbook, posters, and app are distributed for free in the kindergartens in the Altkreis Döbeln area. It's an initiative we are happy to join.
